Hi everyone! I’m Dawn, the lady behind Butter and Sprinkles.
By day, I’m a research assistant, as well as a social worker/therapist for individuals with eating disorders. By night, I’m a culinary student pursuing a certificate in baking and pastry arts with absolutely no clue where it will lead!
My love for baking didn’t emerge until I was about 30. Now I’m obsessed with learning all that I can via cookbooks, food blogs, Pinterest, and anything else I can find. I’m a huge fan of baking from scratch and using weights for ingredients. I’m also obsessed with Hello Kitty!, cupcakes, and all things pink, and have learned that the older I get, the more girly I become!
